peters Posts: 122 Rating: (4)	[:(]dear experts: i want to know what is the function of "diagnostic address"of a node in profibus DP MASTER SYSTEM,and i find that if there is a node of ET-200 whose "diagnostic address"is 16376(show in the inside document of 001 in my archived document),then it's "I address"is 16375(document 002). but non-ET200 nodes only got "diagnostic address",so what is the difference of profibus "diagnostic address"between these two nodes? The picture, especially the No 002, is really strange because ususally there should be another columd with Diagnostics Addresses should be seen. The IM Module itself does not have a Input Address especially not the IM 153-2. Best regards J_Bell

I would try to restart with a new Project and a new setup of the used Hardware, maybe only one DP Slave. If it looks the same way than I would contact Customer Support for more help. Late Platinum Expert Joined: 1/7/2006 Last visit: 11/17/2023 Posts: 2705 Rating: (318)	Hi Peters, I see that you have CIR-elements and also Failsafe blocks. Because the failsafe blocks only could be recognized when the F System software is installed, I think thats the problem.
