Change block parameters by the program

So I should map it and send to other PLC change it and then send back? Is this the only way?

A other way is changing over the LOGO! display (if the LOGO! has a display), a TDE or via the integrated web server. 

I tested something else.

It is possible to change the start value of an up/down counter in the program without remote intervention.

It is important to adhere to the order in the Parameter VM Mapping.

First the reference to the start value of the counter, then the reference to the block that contains the changed start value.
