Multiple motor with a single drive

jaykarnik Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	Is it possible to drive multiple AC motors with a single drive? (The objective is to reduce the cost of the system as i have 12 motors.) If yes how should the wiring be done to avoid reverse voltage spikes. Each motor is of 2 Hp.

The devil, as usual, is in the details, Output current, total power, motor cable length,line chokes and individual motor protection are all things that you will have to look into for this application to work.
