S7-300 CP343-1 V90 position control problem

Hello,

I have a project that uses a CPU 315-2DP with a CP343-1 Advanced to communicate to a V90 servo drive. I have managed to control the drive in speed control mode using standard telegram 1, but no luck in controlling it in positioning mode with standard telegram 111. I can send STW1 and POS_STW1 control words, but I can't manage to send MDI_TARPOS and MDI_VELOCITY.

FC11 and FC12 don't report any errors.

I am using TIA Portal V16 and V-Assistant.

I took some screenshots of my config. I can turn on/off the drive and set pos mode by writing the control words in DB, but I can't set MDI.

I can just recommend the DriveLib which has integrated the FB283 for S7-300 PLCs in TIA Portal. 

With that FB you can handle the cyclic and acyclic data exchange to the EPOS function in the drive.

I have tried FB283, but still no luck. I don't know if it's because I didn't configure something right or because the FB doesn't work with a CP, as in the case of SINA_POS. The example I have found about FB283 uses a CPU with integrated communications.

hmm I don't know too much about the usage of the CP module.

But in V-Assistant have you configured the V90 as a EPOS drive with telegram 111 as well? I am just asking to be sure that the drive does not still think it is speed driven by telegram 1.

Yes, I have configured it as EPOS. I already did that mistake a while ago :).

I have also tested it with a S7-1200 and everything works the way it should.

I think I can only use PNIO_SEND and RECV with a CP to communicate with the drive and I am pretty sure the problem I have is with the SEND/RECV parameter.
