Husam Posts: 101 Rating: (11)	Hi. Does anyone know how to go about configuring the TD 200C for an S7-200 - CPU 224XP.? I have followed the TD Wizard in MicroWin, but then i didn't know how to do configuring plc data? Regards, Husam

neo Posts: 264 Rating: (59)	Hi Husam, I´m not sure whether i´ve understood your problem. The configuration data of the TD 200C are saved in the CPU of the S7-200. The message text strings and configuration parameters are created with the STEP 7 Micro/WIN V4 programming software. Special data areas are reserved in the CPU of the S7-200 for data exchange with the TD 200C. The TD 200C directly accesses the respectively required functions of the CPU via these data areas. e.g. To Display a message text you have to set a Bit you can find in the v-memory (as a commentar after finishing the TD Wizard) Hope this helps you, otherwise please explain us your especial problem best regards

Lifrasil Bronze Member Joined: 9/29/2005 Last visit: 4/26/2022 Posts: 313 Rating: (24)	Hello Husam, i don´t know what do you mean with "configuring plc data" [:blush:] do you want to implement a plc data in your td-200c screen? or do you have questions about the data block?? i think there are only some things you have to do when you finish the wizard correctly - call your wizard-generated module "TD CTRL x" on every program cycle - synchronize the interface settings in the system block with the settings in the td200c (be careful: numbering on the s7-200 port 1, port 0 but on the system block port 0, port1) - tell the td-200c where the first parametre-byte in the v-memory of the s7-200 starts edit: ok neo was faster [;)] but his answer differ from mine, so plz tell us wheres the problem exactly
