"Image" folder missing

xsmart Bronze Member Joined: 11/17/2015 Last visit: 11/7/2024 Posts: 57 Rating: (16)	Hi. I have a strange problem. I have two PC's with Windows 10. TIA V15.1 Upd 6 is installed on both. I have loaded software to KTP1200 from first PC. Then, when I try to load software to this panel from the same project from another PC - I get a message that panel contains more recent firmware (see attached picture). But installation of TIA is identical on both. Can't figure out how it is possible. It turned out that fw version that was loaded from the first PC is 15_01_00_06 and on the second PC there is no folder "Images" (path is on the picture). But I can open, edit project and run simulation on the second PC without any issues. Another strange thing is that image (15_01_00_06) is missing in the "Legacy panel images" for newer version of TIA (17 etc.) There is only 15_01_00_04. Also I tried to copy that folder to the second PC but it still wants to downgrade the firmware, when I try to load sw. Any ideas? Why there is no "Images" folder on second PC, or why there is it on the first? Attachment fw.jpg (144 Downloads)

I think since TIA V16 there is the need to install the Images seperate from the FAQ download (LINK) In V15/V15.1 the Images should be installed at installation and then if you install an Update for TIA Portal. I checked installation and here you can activate the Panel image: Perhaps this was missed in the installation on PC2 Then there are also more files for the transfer than only the image file. I would try to modify the installation, activate the current Panel images and then install the Upd6 for V15.1 again I´m not sure if this is the issue in your situation but it would make sence Bye Murof
