Hi everyone, I have CPU IM151 8 PN/DP,power supply PM-E-DC24V., analog input 2AI and Analog output 2AO (4GB01-0AB0)on the same terminal module. I wanted to get the analog output working, In the plc programming side, I used FC106 with the high limit 100 and low limit 0. Just a simple input for eg10 to FC106, i get 2764 asfromoutput. Howeverwhen i tried to measure thecurrent , i could not get anything . Imeasured thecurrentconnecting pin 1 (AO module)-> resistor(240 ohm) ->multimeter ->pin 3 (A0 module) Is there any mistake i did on measuring the current? OrDo i need to power up 24Vdc to the AO module toallow this to work? Thank you .. Createstars Splitted from ET200S Wiring Examples. |

The wiring of AO you could see at http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/25546054 Do you have SF light on in AO module? Best regards, Hristo Mihalev |

Hello createstars not too sure what could be wrong, but can tell you that the 6ES7135-4GB01-0AB0 is supplied with 24V via the Power module to its left and is capable of driving up to 500 Ohms of burden resistance (i.e. no need for any "external" 24V supply on the card, I presume you have supplied the power module with 24V though, haven't you?). Just in case you don't have it, you can get the manual for it HEREand perhaps others have more ideas. |

Hello createstars allI can think of are a fewmore tests: 1.) Unless done so already, configure the AQ as 4-20mA,and check that you get at least 4mA. 2.) If so, double check that your program actually wirtes to the correct AQ address 3.) If all fails, try a new AQcard. |
