Hello,

you can read with the analog input the resistance value of your PTC.. Then you need a table with the dependancxy of your PTC between resistance value and temperature.

To convert this value to a temperature you can use the function Polyline.

You can find the description of this function at the manual of the TIA-portal.

you can't use the configuration PTC, because there can you use only digital switching points and not a analog value.

If you want to read a temperature you should use the measurement type resistor with 6 kOhm.
The only thing what you need is the resistance curve of your PTC or the values from the  DIN/VDE 0660 part 302
