MCA59 Regular Member Joined: 8/9/2021 Last visit: 10/10/2024 Posts: 26 Rating: (0)	I'am a bit confused about compatibility of basic module I have just bought: LOGO! 12/24 RCE - 6ED1052-1MD08-0BA1 Here I can find a voltage classes compatibility table: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/mdm/100761780?c=57854229387&lc=en-WW Here, instead, there is module/expansion compatibility notes. In these notes I cannot find 6ED1052-1MD08-0BA1 basic module. What does it mean? It not compatible with any module at all or it is compatible with all modules?? https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/24931144 Is there any matrix table to show the compatibility of any basic module with any expansion module? This means the compatibility modules with the older sieries to new series 0BA8. Short: Expansions modules by that the article number ends with 0BA0 or 0BA1 can not used with 0BA8 LOGO!s. Only expansions module by that the article number ends with 0BA2 can used with 0BA8 LOGO!s. This is os since the first 0BA8 LOGO! of the year 2014. Delivery Release for LOGO! 8 and LOGO! Soft Comfort V8 With your LOGO! (12/24 RCE) you can use all 12/24 V expansions module and all of the analog expansions module if their article number ends with 0BA2. But no 230V expansions modulke.

I.E. Can I use a DM16 24 or DM16 24R module (6ED1055-1CB10-0BA2 or 6ED1055-1NB10-0BA2) powering both logic and expansion modules to 24V?

But the question is still the same: could be mixed 12/24V units and 24V units using a single 24V power supply line? That is could i connect a DM16 24 expansion module to a LOGO! 12/24 RCE using a single 24V power supply line? I understand my question could appear 'strange'... Thanks in advance

The 12/24 VDC base modules and 12/24 VDC extension modules can be connected to either 12 VDC or 24 VDC. Basic modules with pure 24 VDC and expansion modules with pure 24 VDC cannot be operated with 12 VDC. If you still haven't understood, then I don't know what else to write or draw either.

If I have a mix of 12/24VDC, 24VDC and 24VDC/AC units (controller, and expansions), can they work together powered at 24VDC? I see, you haven't understand .... 12/24 VDC: Power supply can be 12 VDC or 24VDC. 24 VDC: Power supply can be 24VDC. 24 VDC/AC: Power supply can be 24 VDC or 24VAC. What have all three together? 24 VDC Now all clear?
