In the future, can they make a new function for logo 0ba9,

wheater prediction ( temperature next 3 Days :,example) based on location, (longitude and Latitude).

is Great for heating and cooling systems.

the problem will be the cost. If all requests are integrated, there is no logo, but more of a PLC.
Partially can not even PLCs fulfill these requests, that would only be possible via special communication modules. But this would still affordable?

And always remember:
The logo is not a PLC. And Siemens will create no competition in their own house ....

but then I will continue to use the Moeller Easy , which has the Profibus module, the fact is that in the very small plants maybe 3/4 inputs and 1/2 outputs , put an S7 1200 ? The logo also has the onboard display if you want to make a quick change , the 1200 I have to connect the PC right ? In my opinion ..... What do you say?

When Logo has a clock, it's a real time clock. Regarding accuracy, that's another topic.

 If i get a brand new LOGO and put the power in, the time and dat will be not correct.

Also if power down for a several days.

And Daysaving or Summer/Wintertime must be set.

No, i mean a real RTC, when the power starts for the first time, the time must be correct.

My point of view:

The question is: Cost versus Benefits.

From Logo version 6 to 8 the price increases from U$D 120 to U$D 500 due to some features like Ethernet and back color display.

All many costumers need these features?

I really expect that version 6 won't be discontinued, if it didn´t already happened.

If not, costumers can choose to buy that they really need.

Why not to have a Logo's Family: Basic, Normal and Advanced?

Basic: like version 6. Normal: like version 8. Advanced: version 9 and the next ones with more features like mentioned here, and anothers that certanly will be coming.

For new Logo OBA9 -> One function block with the possibility to write code in C language.
