Trying to reset the RF160C but its giving error code: 1500

AutoGen_9257261 Posts: 8 Rating: (0)	Hi all, We are trying to configure our RF reader with sinumerik 840DSL (720.3 hardware with inbuilt S7300 317 CPU) as well as stand alone 9lc cpu300 and following RF components are used . We are using standard library given in the following application example for configuring the RFID. https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/document/63969277/simple-communication-between-simatic-rf160c-and-simatic-s7-controllers?dti=0&lc=en-US After configuration we are trying to reset the RF160C but its giving error ( error code : 1500). we tried with s7300 standalone PLC also,Result getting same. We assume that error might be the problem with the RF parameters because all the hardware is new. We got only one RFID reader so we left X2 port of RF160C as open, Is there any problem with that?? do we want to terminate the X2 port with a terminator?? It will be helpful if someone share some sample project with S7 300 (step 7). But you might want to terminate the "DP2 X04" port (using the M12 connection block) for the PROFIBUS if the RF160C is the last device in the PB network. Also make sure PB addresses are correct. I assume your input parameters (RF160C parameters) aren't set appropriate. Which values did you assign to them?
