How to define hardware config for S5 program

I have problem machine with PLC S5 with 115U CPU 9446. It communicates with help of 6ES5 308-3UC11 device, inserted in rack of PLC ( I don't remember for sure but it 6 or 7 rack).  There will be hardware config in the future step7  PLCs but not in S5.

you need the software "COM Profibus" to define the I/O-system at your Profibus system.
There you define the relation between Profibus addresses and address areas at the slaves

The "hardware configuration" will be download in the memory of the IM308.

The system I mentioned is exists. I need only to debug it a little. I don't need to download nothing to the controller.

Does "COM Profibus" will be sutable for upload from IM 308?

Since you have a IM 308C in your system as a DP-master, you can use COM Profibus yo upload the existing Profibus configuration.
