PCS7 version inside this PCS7Box is 6.1 SP1. Besides, the CPU is 416-2 PCI. At the very same time the computer works as an ES and OS and there are 3 multipanels MP 277 and 2 IM's hanging down the MPI / DP interface placed in the CPU. To communicate we will use PROFIBUS-DP (1.5 Mb) and to program the so-called panels we've installed WinCCFlexible (v5.1, SP1). Projects created with WinCC Flexible are downloaded via Ethernet. So far, PCS7 OS runs perfectly and panels communicate. And here comes the dilemma... Ifwe need to go to the panels with the laptopto transfer changes to them(f.i. during commisioning...), would it be possible to use Routing in this case ??This woud bemade using the MPI/DP interface in the CPU 416-2 PCIand we wonder if it's possible to soften and ease the work this way during commisioning. I will attach again the .jpg file to show the config (just one MP 277 from the moment...) Ciao and many thanks in advance P.S. Unfortunately, I don't know so much about the PCS7Box But keep in mind: the panel should be connected through MPI or Profibus and the PC with WinCC flexible should also be connected through MPI or Profibus.
