Hi all, Is their any official open-source library available from Siemens regarding S7 communication to use directly in projects instead of using node-red? As an example; we are currently using snap7 in a Qt application to import the necessary library. However, I'm looking towards a more official way of doing things as this project has not been maintained for quite some while. Regards, |

Hello, You can find the s7classic protocol as open source library but not s7plus. S7plus is also not available as a standalone library for Linux, but we have them running on different products in our potfolio such as Edge Devices and the Siemens App "S7-Connector". Kind regards! |

Hi, you can use these 3rd party open source libraries for PLCs 300/400/1200/1500 and the LOGO! as well. There is snap7 and also node-s7 (which is also the base for the s7 node-red node). Best regards! |
Not working for IOT2050 support anymore from March 1st, 2024. |
