Sinumerik 810 - Screen off - Red Led - Blunders

I have a problem with a machining center, while working the screen suddenly when off, it has an old sinumerik 810 control (dont know for sure where to find code and version of it). When we open the monitor panel to see in the back, a red light appears in one of the module, so i think why not do a visual inspection and cleaning maybe that could fix the problem (i did this without knowing that it was the cpu module). I didnt see anithing burnt or traces blown up so y clean it and try to install it back, but nothing appears in the screen, did i deleted all of the data or the entire operating system?, the red led is still on... We have another machines but i am not certain that cpu modules of similar controls can be interchanged, can someone tell me if that is the case or not?, i have a board as replacement but with slightly differences, the only parts missing is reestart eproms. Codes are 570.385.9302.02 and 570.385.9402.00 (this is the one that correspond to the machine with problems)... Well i appreciate any of the time and help, mean while i wll continue reading manuals and forums...

I have the following files from previous backups... PCA, PCP, RPA0, RPA1, RPA2, RPA3, SEA, TEA1, TEA2, TOA, ZOA0, ZOA1, ZOA2, ZOA3... My concern is that the screen is not showing anything (like the actual GUI of the control with all the options and menus), and the red led of cpu card is on... nulizhang Platinum Expert Joined: 10/17/2007 Last visit: 9/3/2025 Posts: 4429 Rating: (398)	You are lucky to have all data back up the next step is "making screen on" and transfer the data back to your 810 for transfer you need Laptop with Siemens software PCIN or WinPCIN, for screen not on possible your CPU has problem If you want to continue help you need send picture of your CPU, the parts number is on the bottom module clamper there's brown label showing 6FX5xxxxxxxxx? I have the following files from previous backups... PCA, PCP, RPA0, RPA1, RPA2, RPA3, SEA, TEA1, TEA2, TOA, ZOA0, ZOA1, ZOA2, ZOA3... GuilleS3 Joined: 4/20/2024 Last visit: 8/1/2025 Posts: 7 Rating: (0)	I can't read the number, the label is blank, the only number I have is the one from the first post (570.385.9402.00) which is printed on the PCB connector that goes to the rack PCB, I don't know if it's useful or not. Are there CPU (or modules in general) manuals available for electronic troubleshooting? Is there a list available for cpu compatibility (we have a couple of machine with similar setups and if they are interchangable we could try one of those, the only thing is that they are from lathes)... To load all the backups, is there a guide or manual?, Thanks in advance....

I saw that the modules and connectors rack are very dirty, so maybe that is causing some issues... I already uploaded the backup files (pcin soft came in the cd of one of the machines), all axis can be moved now and are referenced correctly. Waiting to test the machine while running a cutting program. For the reload of the backup i used an old computer with windows 95, a serial cable with one end with a 9pin female connector going to the computer and the other end with 25pin male connector connected to front panel interface. And I follow the pdf downloaded from link below. I am always glad to learn new things...
