Using file system functions on Unified panel

AutoGen_1163912 Member Joined: 1/13/2021 Last visit: 8/11/2025 Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	I'm having trouble programming a function to create a text file when a HMI variable changes. All functions seem to execute correctly, but the HMIRuntime.FileSystem.WriteFile function doesn't seem to work. I'm wondering if it's necessary to declare this function as a global declaration, or if it does not work in this situation. It is to benoted that my script also works fine when a button is released. I use TIA Portal V19 update 2.

Do you use the scheduled task to trigger this script (is it a global Script?)
