V90 problem with moving 16#800D

Hello guys,

I have a problem with my project. I think and believe I did the commisioning and HW configuration correct. I can set the V90 "Enabled" with the MCs but when I try to move it with the MC_Jog I get the error 16#800D. I also tried changing the Gain but still got nothing at all. It's default value was 10.0.

How often does your cyclic interrupt OB run for your TOs (MC_Jog for example), and how often are you configuring the updates?

Refer to the MC_Jog error status description.  What is it?

In your cyclic interrupt configuration, how often does it interrupt?  Every 30ms?  Every 100ms?  Every 1ms?  If it is every 1ms, that's the first problem.

In the cyclic interrupt I have a "MOVE" for 30ms. I suppose I should try and increase the time and try again? 

Setting a timer value is not the same as setting up a 30ms Cyclic Interrupt OB (OB3#, like OB30).

My general understanding of T.O.s is they are typically called or handled periodically using a cyclic interrupt OB so the logic is consistently and reliably clocked with the same time interval between updates to the command outputs.

What does Siemens do in sample applications for V90 and S7-1200 PLCs?

It's every 30ms, as the only video I've found regarding a siemens s7-1200 and a Fanuc robot. So, could that be considered a good time?

Hello and I'm sorry for the delay,

I changed the Time of the whole OB for Cyclic Interrupt. Now i understand what I was doing wrong. Thank you for the clarification on the matter. It worked just fine after I changed that time and the time in the cyclic interrupt which I thought was the only time I could change.
