having trouble installing the drive monitor software on my laptop

Tim391 Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	rino99 Hello; i don?t know if i'm in the right section, i have a problem with the installation of drive monitor in my notebook dell with win xp sp3. I got the message "restart windows before install new program" I restart and i get always the same message. Please anyone can help me? Thank you very much. Hi, I am also having trouble installing the drive monitor software on my laptop. So far, i have managed to install drive monitor on a laptop running Win7 32 bit, but when i attempt to install either drive monitor stand alone or STARTER on a different machine running WinXP 32 i get the message 'This software requires Win XP Pro SP2 to install' I am running XP home premium, and have tried installing in SP2 and SP3. Is there really a difference between the proffesional and home editions? Is there any way i can resolve this? Thanks Splitted from Impossible to install drive monitor.

Tim391 Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	Amazingly, this registry hack actually works and i was able to install drive monitor succesfully, so thanks for the link. Still seems ridiculous for the software to arbitrarily require a professional version of windows, but never mind. Thanks Tim
