it seems that the redundancy modbus tcp communication not working

Download the currect Red version from the offical site:OpenModbusTCP Red V2=> tab "Download". (You have to register you for statistics and after this you can download the setup file.) I suggest to use this new version. There is more functionality (bit-oriented function codes were inserted) and the performance was increased. Wüstenräuber

NOAMYUZUK Posts: 30 Rating: (0)	Dear Mr.wuestenraeuber please tell me : if my system is server , my question is when hapenning a switch over of the two communication card cp443, please tell me if suppose to be redundancy action and the communication steal working after the switch over, or because our system is a slave the client suppose to see the active connection and to transmit to it. Orthere is no matter if our system is a client or a server and the redundancy function(the older version) suppose to work anyway with a switch over. please tell me which is the wright option base on the older version of modbus tcp redundancy function. best regards noam

If your system acts as server then you should parameterize the SO_TIME. If the active connection breaks down, the server checks all parameterized connections for new data. If the client sends a telegram via the broken connection, an error is recognized. Then the client has to send the telegram via the second connection. In the current version of modbus redundancy it's possible to send and receive the data via all parameterized connections. Wüstenräuber
