Question about openig sample program

Kgops Posts: 16 Rating: (0)	john81 Hello again, I have good news, yesterday I final buy new CP 343-1CX10 V2.2 . I have tested it with Circutor CVM 144, because I lent to friend PAC. I have already successfully read data from it !!! (Thank you for help !!!). Now I have just one problem, the maximum number of parameter that can be read in one transmission (one telegram) is 20 (for Circutor). So now I can read data from START_ADDRESS = 0 and LENGHT = 40 (that is max). And I get data in DB11 from DB11.DBW0 to DB11.DBW39 . So now I want to send another "second" telefrom to read data from register 39 to 80, then from 79 to 120 and so on. And save it second telegram to DB12, third in DB13 .... What and where must I add in program that will work. In attachment I am sending a program that work perfect. Maybe stupid question but I am a beginner. Splitted from problem with the maximum number of parameter.

Hello, To work with Sentron Pac 3200, you have to install the .gsd files first. Kgops Posts: 16 Rating: (0)	Thanks, I have an old S7 400 with the part Number: 6ES7-414-2XG01-OAB0, Wen i run the program I get this Error on my PLC, "Area Length Error when reading. I area double word access address: 512." See attached picture Is it a problem with my old PLC? I have tried chinging the profibus address to various values and i still get this error. I am using Wincc-PowerRate V3.0 SP1 Attachment Error.JPG (460 Downloads)

I am using Wincc-PowerRate V3.0 SP1 Hello, This error is triggered if the CPU try to access an input which is not in the PII (process image input). Here in your case you have double word PID512. Please check the PII of the CPU. See the attached picture. It will guide you. And if the input is out of the PII, then go to the AI or as here in your case go to Sentron PAC3200 and change the address to be in the range of the PII. Best regards.
