Unable to get scalence w784-1 wireless working!

AutoGen_8616710 Joined: 8/2/2024 Last visit: 4/9/2025 Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	Hi all, I'm hoping you can help me. I'm not able to get my scalence w784-1AA30-2AA0 v4.4.7. I've used the primary set up tool to assign it a gateway, MAC address and an IP address. I've added it to my PLC hardware and wired it up to the profinet network. When I click the 'starts the browser for configuring INC modules' button it wont connect me to the setup page. I also can't see the network when I search on the PG handheld HMI. I must be missing something obvious but I can't seem to figure out what it is! Help will be much appreciated! Thanks, Tom

As I remember, information for the configuration was noted in a configuration manual SCALANCE W-700 on the accompanying CD. Please have a look in the manual. Otherwise I recommend to get in touch with the Support.

Can you provide some informations what exactly cfg you did in Scalance and PC, I mean network settings, what interfaces are used.
