Murof Platinum Expert Joined: 8/3/2009 Last visit: 9/4/2025 Posts: 16343 Rating: (1931)	Hello joacimAnderssons the SIMATIC HMI Panels are delivered with specific OS for example: Comfort Panels, Mobile Panel, Multipanels and some older TP/OPs are running with WindowsCE (in different versions). These panels can only run with this kind of OS Also other Panels like Basic Panels, Unified Comfort Panels or Unified Basic Panels run on a Linux based OS. Every SIMATIC Panel can only be updated with the OS images that are provided by Siemens and you cannot change the OS from WindowsCE to Linux (or the other way) Bye Murof
