I need to connect to Master Drive VC but do not know the current FW version on drive. what should I put in DriveMon to connect? Model 6SE72-JCI31-8EB00-3ABO Thanks ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |

Dear Doc Dyke, I assume that you use the serial interface for the connection, hence it is a USS connection. Proceed as follow: The com board on the drive has to be 1, 2, 3 or 4 Check the baud rate in the drive by the PMU (p701 default 9600)and adjust it in (or to) the Drive monitor settings. In order to make changes in the drive p53 has to be on 7 Then the bus scan can carried out and the connected drive can be selected.
