I have an installation with a S7-1500 PLC and a S7-1200 PLC. Both PLCs should be able to send information to an HMI running WinCC Advanced V17. At the moment, the HMI only communicates with the S7-1500 and not with the S7-1200.

What should I check to resolve this issue?




 

Ensure that the real time clock is correctly configured in the hardware configuration. Set the time value. Check that this correct clock matches the other two communication peers. Check the security configuration of the communication link.

Which Version of WInCC Advanced RT do you use (with Upd)?

only in the newest Updates the SW does support the Secure HMI Communication.

Which FW Versions do your PLCs have?
