I'm using TIA Portal V19 Upd3 along with startdrive updated accordingly.

I have a 400V PROFINET S200 with installed firmware version 6.3 HF7 connected to a 1512C CPU with firmware 2.9.7 on it.

I've configured standard telegram 112 on drive and in cpu hardware configuration.

I'm getting this error when starting the cpu

Error: IO device failure - Unsupported device configuration

16# 02:39CB

 And the drive is "not reacheable" (red cross)

Right now I have no motor attached to the S200 and UMAC is disabled.

Is there an incompatibility issue? With CPU firmware <3.0 UMAC should not be an issue if I remember correctly.

Can somebody help me?

A little follow-up:

After connecting the motor to the S200, I was able to correctly configure it. I thought it should be possible to do a basic commissioning of the drive without motor, maybe this is not possible with S200.

telegram 112 is the same as telegram 111, but it uses REAL values instead of DINT values for MDI setpoint and actual values. EPOS functionality is the same. There's a slight different bit assignment in one of the control/status word, but I don't remember which

I've also managed to use SinaPara to achieve Fixed End Stop with parameters from PLC instead of fixed traversing blocks in the drive. It's all in the documentation.
