Does anyone have any experience with adding a UPS to a Sinumerik 810D CCU3 ?

I have a customer who has severe power dips where the Sinumerik 810D CCU3 loses its data. I would like to try and offer some way of stabilising the electronics supply from the Simodrive 611 U/E module to prevent this data loss.

The 10 KW U/E module 6SN1145-1AA01-0AA1 has X181 where the electronics is supplied with 380V AC which is then used to generate all the necessary voltages for the 810D CCU. Would it be possible to remove the links joining 1U1&2U1, 1V1&2V1, and 1W1&2W1 and connect a small 3 phase 380V UPS to 2U1, 2V1 and 2W1. This would then stabilise the electronics supply in the event of a momentary power dip, 1 or 2 KVA backup would probably be enough.

The 5 and 10 KW UE modules do not have a controlled rectifier, they do not Regen so the recitifier is not synchronised to the supply.

The machine does not require much UPS supply, a minute or two would be enough to stabilise during a momentary failure.

I realise that there would be many drive alarms in the event of these failures but they can simply be reset when restarting the machine.

I would be grateful for any advice from anyone who has dealt with this problem
