You have a choice to make.

Choose to upgrade your project to V18 or higher so you can use FW 4.6 (or higher) and receive no warnings when downloading to the PLC

Choose to stay at V16 and learn to ignore the persistent warnings about the firmware offline and online are different.

Both choices are valid. I've chosen both on different occassions for various reasons.  Neither choice is wrong or right or more wrong or more right.  They are yours to make and nobody will judge either way.

That said, I might suggest installing the latest available firmware for your PLC and learning to ignore the offline/online FW differences and choose whatever portal version makes sense for you, your projects, and your customers.

Reason for installing the latest FW: cybersecurity updates, bug fixes, opens the opportunity for larger memory available for programming (with proper Portal version that supports that FW).

I am using S7 1200 1215C DC/DC DC (6ES7215-1AG40-0XB0) and the online PLC using firmware 4.6 but the offline in the program in TIA V16 only got firmware up to 4.4. Can i get the support package for HSP S7 1200 FW 4.6 to be used in TIA V16.

That is very likely (like 99.9999%) not related to ignoring the warning.

Install the latest V16 update (I believe we are up to update 8 on V16 now).

If you have not installed the latest ALM, I suggest doing that as well - ALM V6.2 SP3 unless Siemens  recently released another update or version.  The V16 updates (sadly) do not include the (very) latest ALM.  Personally, I think if Siemens releases a component within a supported version and / or update, they should "update" the main install package as well as all posted updates - and update the MD5 checksums.

However, doing that must take some bot hours and hours of compute time.

The software that crashes has nothing to do with the firmware mismatch. You have other problems. Contact Siemens – you can use the Support Request link or contact your local representative. Mention which troubleshooting steps you have taken already.
