How to communicate DCM Drive to PLC?

Hi,

        PLC -  6ES7 214-1AG40-0XB0

        DCM Drive - 6RA8031-6DV62-0AA0 and  6RA8018-6DV62-0AA0 

Pls check both DCM drive and PLC how i can communicate .

Please share article (MLFB)  number of your PLC CPU.

In previous post attached snap, CPU 1214 profinet interface is shown. Have you checked it?

I know PLC having Inbuild Profinet communicaton . But in DCM drive pls check the Profinet connection communication. 

I already shared the Drive details . Kindly confirm .

Use the online TIA Selection Tool to locate a suitable profibus (PB) comm module for your s7-1200 PLC, or install a profibus / profinet gateway device.  The PB is easier and probably less expensive.

Hi,

         My Local Support team told me in drive don't have inbuild profinet communication . So that we are going for profibus connection. 

          DCM drive having inbuild profinet communication .?

           If not we need to to buy CDU for profinet communication . So for easy way we are going for Profibus communication.
