PLCSIM V5.4 - Input invalid after download PLC program

awu10 Posts: 55 Rating: (0)	Hello, I am using Step 7 V5.4, PLCSIM and WinCC V7.0. I have PIW 560 is defined in PLC program. When I use PLCSIM to Input PIW560, it converted to the symbol, the same symbol as in PLC symbol table. This is ok before I download PLC program. As soon as I download the PLC program, PIW560 becomes invalid. Where is the problem, please advise. Thank you awu10

SSE Posts: 45 Rating: (8)	Hi, Such an issue may appear when you download a hardware (System data) together with program blocks. Try to start blank PLCSIM simulation and download program blocks only (without system data). Best regards
