Stay at 0% after 20 sec. arrive the message that you can see in my last post. I'm more or less surethat the software is not downloaded. I select always "System and user program" but nothing. Look also this little report that i have like feedback from 'Module Information' Hello. You are right, your program is not loaded. Check the settings for COM-port of your PC, baudrate should be 9600 or 19200. Try to download from another PC. Try another memory module (MC5xx), If you have (may be the card is damaged).

SMS-INNSE Advanced Member Joined: 3/26/2009 Last visit: 12/19/2023 Posts: 12 Rating: (0)	Hi KSN... i try to change the baudrate of PC port...from 9600 to 19200...only to test... the messagge that i read is: '5900 - System Error' but the progress bar moved from 0% to 1%....strange... unfortunately...i don't have other MC5xx... can you check if this parameters of COM port are exactly? thanks.... Please check if there is a small switch on a side of the memory card. If yes, switch to the other position (en- anddisable write protection, you must set it to no write protection) KSN Check the settings for COM-port of your PC, baudrate should be 9600 or 19200. The COM settings should be ok, because the error panels can be read. Do you have a orginal SIMATIC TDC memory card with a Siemens lable, or a "compatible" memory card?

I tried to insert the memory card on my PCMCIA on my PC Sony Vaio...but...i don't able to connect...incredible.... Usualy..i insert on my pc the PCMCIA Card to connect my pc with PLC S7400...to download...If i broken the top of the memory card it's possible that it's entry....:-)..... you and the other people are thinking that it's better that i call siemens and i ask their to change memory? thanks...

The newmemory card / CPU TDChaven't inside information to start the first time. You must use omniDrive ORRRRRRRR,you canuse an old CPU. Power on the target, download the hardware configurator with new memory card.In this way the memory card will be initializated. Power off the target, change the old cpu with the new CPU, insert the memory card and Et Voilà! The System is ready and all ok.! In my case I forgotten also the battery...but...is a little thing.... Best regardsssssss

Best regardsssssss Hello. I think you are not right. If you use original memory card from Siemens, I think it is always possible to download the program onlinefirst time. As I know original memory card contain the special loader which allows you to load online. But if you: SMS-INNSE Itried withUSB PC Adapter and cableSC67 (DUST1 COM1) , butin any case,the answer is: it's not reachable...Why?It's possibleto use PC Adapter? There is a manual where i can see step to step how to configure and use SC67? and then: SMS-INNSE try to connect the cable SC67 and make a restart from Chart CFC I don't know what's may happen with memory card, may be the loader was damaged. And what you mean when you talk: SMS-INNSE use an old CPU ?

I arrived at the conclusionwith the italian and germany support that the problem is inside inthe CPU 6DD1600-0AB2. For the Siemens support, this version of this CPU hasn't the possibility to runa loaderto initilize of the memory. And so, the solution used was been to insert CPU CPU 6DD1600-0AB1 (old model) and without other changes at my program, the initialize of my memory card is going to the end with zero problem. After that, i reinsert CPU 6DD1600-0AB2 andnow ican download all i want. By--
