SMS-INNSE Advanced Member Joined: 3/26/2009 Last visit: 12/19/2023 Posts: 12 Rating: (0)	Hi! last week i received a TDC, with 3 board : CPU551, CP50M1, CP51M1 and relative software D7 SYS 7.0. Usally i work with PLC S7300-S7400...Ladder...WinCC...never with CFC, SFC, etc...but i want to learn. I install on my desk PC, Step7 5.4, D7 SYS and i create in the hardware configuration my system. Now I would like to download, but i couldn't. Itried withUSB PC Adapter and cableSC67 (DUST1 COM1) , butin any case,the answer is: it's not reachable...Why?It's possibleto use PC Adapter? There is a manual where i can see step to step how to configure and use SC67? Help me!

You must use serial cable SC67, connect it to the PC COM port and to X1 of CPU551. In the Setting PG-PC interface select DUST1 (COM1) or DUST1 (COM2). Open one CFC chart and go to the menu CPU-Download, select Online and set chekbox 'Initial load' (only for first time loading). You mayread the manual in Start-Simatic-Documentation-English - "D7-SYS - SIMATIC TDC System and communication configuring" chapter 1.5 "Testing, compiling and downloading the project".

I try to connect the cable SC67 and make a restart from Chart CFC ... all ok....(and so the cable and the connection is ok) but when i try to download...the answer is :" Error 4682 - Message from Download : No Card" (i selected DUST1 like you say me in the post). I have also the '0' on the CPU slot that it's blinking...if i understand well, i have an initializing error... infact...i make a compare....and the answer is :" Configuration and module program differ in CPU name, CPU number or compile date". Other question. In Charts i have only "@SIMD" i must add other chart to download or not? In the picture you can find my HW Rehelp me! :-) Attachment SymD_HW2.JPG (375 Downloads)

And it forces a restart to activate the new program. If you have installed D7-SYS you can read the D7-SYS - T400 Configuring Instructions The chapters 1 to 5 are valid forTDC too, exept of the selected hardware. In Chapter 6most is similar in TDC, but you have other/more communications and no parametration.

You must insert a SIMATIC TDC Memory card (MS500 or MS521 (If I remember the names correct). Without a memorycard the CPU will do nothing, exept telling you a memory card is required. SMS-INNSE Other question. In Charts i have only "@SIMD" i must add other chart to download or not? No that's fine for the start. You must download the compiled program to the memory card , offline or online. And then reset the rack. After the restart you should be abel to go online and watch values in @SIMD. If this works you can add a new chart in CFC, add FBs, compile, download, reset the rack and go online to watch your program in the new chart.

PS: when i try to restart from CFC Chars, i see on CPU display...'0' blinking....'1' for 2 sec...and after that again '0' blinking...after that arrive the message on the screen that yuo can find in the picture... Possible Solution??? Help me again....thanks a lot.. Hello! When you download from CFC, does the download process starts or not (do you see the progress bar)? Restarting is needed only after the complete loading. If you see at the end of download process the window with buttons "Close", "Retart", "Stop" and "Help", then I think your program is downloaded successfully. Also for the first loading select option "System and user program" in load dialog.
