A.Hashim Posts: 25 Rating: (0)	Hi Can LOGO! 8 offer something to compete with CITIGIS SYSTEM, Terminal CITILUX Terminal CITILUX mention clearly the following in the Datasheet: "It incorporates a battery for its internal clock, capable to keeps information and registers stored up to 16 year." while LOGO! 8 "has a backup time of 20 days for the internal clock" If we use UPS battery will it help to extend the internal clock life?

Take a look at this topic: LOGO! 8 battery Thanks for your relpy I know it not include a battery but the internal capacitor can extend the internal clock life to 20 days. and Sitop UPS1100 battery can provide us with a battery but how long will it last? DO we have a better option?

ixo65 Grandmaster Joined: 12/18/2014 Last visit: 12/31/2025 Posts: 36388 Rating: (4545)	No idea. With the UPS battery, you not only support the clock, but hold the complete LOGO! in function. Provided your LOGO! has the same voltage as the battery gives it. Another option would be if you have a FS4 LOGO! have. Then you could synchronize the clock via the Internet via an NTP time server. That would work with every new start.
