Communicate beetwen S7-300 and robot KUKA

rybak02 Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	The robot is KRC1. The interface is use - ethernet (AUI) I think about use ProConOS and use ModbusTCP to connect with CP-343. I found manuals about ModbusTCP in S7. It it good idea? Maybe is easier way to communite.

J_Bell Posts: 5822 Rating: (412)	Hello, I have no clue if Kuka works with Modbus TCP, the only thing I know is that the Modbus TCP Driver by Siemens does not work with the CP 343-1 Lean. I am sorry, but you will have to find out which Protocol Kuka uses. The CP 343-1 Lean supports the following: - TCP Protocol - UDP Protocol - ISO on TCP Protocol - S7 Protocol (as Server only) Best regards J_Bell

I'm looking for some GSD files for implement link between KUKA robots and SImatic S7300 by PROFIBUS. I need it for education only so it isnt important type of robot GSD file. Doanybody now,where I can download it? I wrote to the official Kuka agent, but I didnt obtain any answer. Thanks alot. Thomas
