Complete download to OS server out of the industrial network

0shunmare Posts: 9 Rating: (0)	I would like to know if I could prepare or test an OS out of the industrial network. It means, I have a multiproject backup and I am preparing a server to replace another. I installed the operational system (Win2003 Server SP2), PCS7 and all necessary software. The machine is ready to receive the download from the ES. I tried to download to the OS from a ES in the lab. It didn't work. Our PCS7 7.0 SP3 system has 4 OS pairs with stdby. And this job aim to replace one of this machine, but I am questioning if it is possible to download this OS out of the industrial network. I thank the attention in advance. Regards, Matheus

To reach the right download from ES to OS in the lab, I should change the name of the ES in retrieved project of the OS to current ES of the lab. Actually, the ES name of the lab was different from the ES name of the automation system. Other thing I would like to share is a bug in SIEMENS IPC647C when installing PCS7 7.0 SP3. In the configuration console, you will find some errors assignments in CP1613 and protocol connections. It is only an animation problem as we discussed with Brazilian and German SIEMENS technicians. Currently, I have installed two of them and they are working very well. Regards, Oshunmare
