Connection loss by IP change

domjaw Posts: 10 Rating: (0)	Hello, I have a weird Problem considering Connection on my iot2040. When I change the IP to a static one on the X2P1LAN Port I am not able to use the wifi correctly even though I shows up under ifconfig in the ssh-terminal. When I try to ping any Webpage there is no respond or even in Node-RED I cannot connect with my MQTT Broker. I am using the Port to connect to a Simiton D running a OPC UA Server. But giving it None static IP I am able to be "online" as usual but cannot connect towards my other device. Same thing happens if I try to change the Default IP of the IOT itself. bergmanu Platinum Member Joined: 4/28/2015 Last visit: 11/12/2024 Posts: 3345 Rating: (379)	Hi, is it possible that your static IP on X2P1 is in the same network as your Wifi router? That may be the cause, because it leads to problems if two network interfaces are the same network.. Best regards!

domjaw Posts: 10 Rating: (0)	It does not change anything if I connect a cable to eth1 or not. I do not change it to dhcp, I just delete/comment the adress/netmask of eth1

domjaw Posts: 10 Rating: (0)	What I found out is, that I can ping my Notebook as well as my phone in the same WiFi Network. But cannot reach out to ping google.com or anything else. domjaw Posts: 10 Rating: (0)	There is no nameserver with 192.168.120.1 in that file Just a Domain of ouer Intranet and 2 nameservers_ nameserver 192.168.1.243 nameserver 192.168.1.251
