Hello miami, what do you mean by "morepossibilities with ET 200S"? Does ET200S failsafe station provides more safety then ET200M? The real question is this: is there any difference in ET 200M station which is used with failsafe modules and ET 200M for normal modules? Our idea is pretty much straightforward. We'll use failsafe CPU with failsafe modules and with software package "Distributed safety" hired professional PLC programmer will implement existing relay logic. |

Hello Jasner, In the ET300M you have the posibility to use F-DI and F-DO Modules, or standard modules and a 3TK28 to save switch off (the power supply of the standard DIO modules). In ET200S you can do the same, or use a F_PM module instead on the 3TK28. In this case you willnot need a extra unit, just replace the PM module(s) with a F_PM module(s). Have a look into the manual: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/12490437 In ET200M there is no simular modules to the F-PMs in ET200S. |
