timmermans Posts: 66 Rating: (0)	Hello everybody, In the ET200s station I am using are some powermodules (PM-E DC24V). If I look in the properties tab parameters there is the option Diagnostics: No load voltage L+ Also the ET200pro station has these options. I want to use the option to stop a part of my machine when the power of this module is not present. Is there a bit that shows the status of this load voltage? Thanks J. Anchobi Posts: 139 Rating: (25)	G'Day aswell as enabling the no load voltage diagnostic you will also have to go the address tab and enable the status byte which will will be updated in your normal I/O process image. The no load voltage bit to check will be bit 3 of the status byte. For more information see page 28 of the system manual http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/1144348 alternatively if you donty want to use the status byte and evaluate only when there is a problem then you can use the variables in thetemporary memory of OB82 which will be called in the event of loss of power to the module, (or other I/O card fault).

Anchobi Posts: 139 Rating: (25)	I see you must be using an ET200pro andNOT an ET200s station. Is this correct? If this is the case then you will have to use OB82, or otherwise go the hard way and write some code to call SFC13 with which you will use the diagnostic address in the image you posted. Timmermans, The easiest way to retrieve information from the PM modules is to activate the Status byte in the hardware configuration. Look at attachment. This gives in the OB1 PI direct the information of the power terminal such as voltage available, fuse defective. It is a little bit in efficient because you have to reserve a complete byte for only two (or three) statusses.Butit iseasy to use in the PLC program. timmermans Posts: 66 Rating: (0)	Hello Anchobi, I am using a ET200s module see project zip. I 'don't get the same Addresses tab as your printscreen. This project is only to test at the office (test_saf) , the real project will include also ET200pro. These "PM-E modules" have the exact same properties as the ET200s. Thanks J. You probably also realise this too but the status byte of the pm module only seems to be a selectable option if the ET200s station is a profibus slave. i.e. not on the main rack and not on the profinet and not in a ET200pro etc I dont know why this is, but you should in this case use your OB82 and check the variable located in temporary memory "OB82_EXT_VOLTAGE" when the given module diagnostic address is referenced. Please try and let me know how you go.
