As I tried earlier with CUVC, I was able to be online but parameters for T400 was not readable. Can Anyone guide me for this? I have manual in which it is written that we can be online with terminals 67, 68, 69. Any special software required for this? or we can simply use drive monitor? Regards, Devesh

KSN Platinum Expert Joined: 8/25/2006 Last visit: 11/6/2024 Posts: 2211 Rating: (280)	miami the T400 is sold empty or programmed: 6DD1606-0AD1 SIMADYN D TECHNOLOGY BOARD T400 6DD1842-0AA1 SIMADYN D T400 WITH AXIAL WINDER 6DD1842-0AB1 SIMADYN D T400 WITH ANGULAR SYNCHR.CONTR. 6DD1842-0AD1 SIMADYN D T400 WITH SHEET CUTTER If you have one of the last 3, then you can do all with DriveMonitor, if the replacement has the same order number. If you have first one then you need Step7, CFC and D7-SYS software to go online via terminals 67, 68, 69.

If yes then how?? I am using T400 with Simoreg 6RA70 drive.. Should I be online with main CU?? I tried to make offline file with Simadyn D SRT but I got some error. KSN Platinum Expert Joined: 8/25/2006 Last visit: 11/6/2024 Posts: 2211 Rating: (280)	With DriveMonitor you can read and change all the parameters of T400, the same way as the parameters of the drive. You just need to configure your 6RA70 in the DriveMonitor so that itiswith T400.

In drive Monitor, I need to make offline file for 6RA70 having T400 with correct version settings Then just go online and select upload--> Basic Device and Technological Module There you are.... You can take upload for both, T400 as well as Basic Drive... Regards, Devesh

To hande the program on the T400,you need Step7, CFC and D7-SYS. With this, you can design any program and download it to the T400 (and erase the old program). A upread of the program from the T400 is not possible. It is possible to define parameters in the program. The standard programs are sold as software too and you can download themto any T400. To handle parameters on the T400 you need Drive-Monitor. You can change, upread and download parameters. You,Vithani, only need DriveMonitor as you only access the parameters.
