First iteration of your task could be as below:
Where: shift - boolean variable set to TRUE when the shift of the register is to be executed; new_real - your new value to be written to the register; array_of_reals - ARRAY[0..n]OF REAL - shift register storage memory; (n+1) - desired lenght of the register. However this is very poor implementation
