I am trying toconfigure timers/relays in such a way as to permit 2 hours of use per 24 hour period, but not necessarily the same 2 hours each day. Once triggered, the device would allow 2 hours of uninterupted use, followed by 22 hours of "lock out". Then the cycle would begin again after the trigger event. It was suggested to me that I use a LOGO to control arelay which would control areceptacle. Any help exploring/programming it would be greatly appreciated!!!!

For my first try, all I am trying to do isto program the Logo as a one shot 24 hour retentive timer that is triggered by a momentary contact switch. The output would be to trigger a relay that would turn on a light. After 24 hours, it would turn off.

memovilmx Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	Hello I'm new on the forum and kinda logo! *ster, Used it long time but for very easy projects, mainly for the basic Digital functions. But once for a Biology project for a friend I made a tide "simulator" on an artificial pond the recquirement was a linearized water income and outcome from the pond using only 2 constant-speed constant-flow swimming pool pumps. The best that I've found was: Asynchronous pulse generator** (don't really know the name of the function in english since I'm not in my computer right now but in spanish is translated like that) for more reference it is located in the function tree undet the TIMERS branch. You can use the high state for your on-time and the low state for your off-time without taking care for the actual hour on the clock and also not caring about when it was started And the best: quick, dirty and cheap this function is present from logo0BA1 so you don't need cutting edge logo! for this achievement Best regards and hope I 've helped you
