Hello I am currently working on a project in which a heat gun is attached to 1-axis gantry arm where a motor moves the heat gun in linear direction and using thermocouples want to read the temperature at several locations and adjust the velocity of the motor to try to reach a close enough temperature to not overheat or underheat each section. I am using a 1215C DC/DC/DC CPU and have been using the motion controls available on tia portal. I used memory values for velocity and currently have been using MC_AbsolutePosition to operate each section and used a clock memory to continuously activate the operation to by pass the "execute" limitation and have an adjustable velocity.

However, I have recently discovered that at the end of each absolute position command, the velocity slows down to zero so that it stops exactly at the set position before starting its next absolute position command. This is not desired for my intended purpose as I want it to after reaching a certain position then transition to its next command without slowing down at the certain point and was looking to see if anyone had any ideas of how to implement this or any help tips to guide me in the right direction.
