Maximum length of cable for sitrans 1010

huynhthanhlam Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	Dear sirs we have the problem about the length of cable for sitrans1010. we have not enough cables to connect from tranducers ( field area ) to Sitrans 1010 ( installed in control room , over 200m from field), so can we use the connector to connect 2 cables. Is the signal OK ?. please support thanks lamht

Other meters is up to 91m. If you do the extension of 2 cables, the RF signal will be very weak, the instrument won't be accurate. Send me a private message to discuss futher. Regards, chook

See the image attached. I also had advised the page of catalog for somebody who wants to look through! Most ultrasonic instruments with a scan will produce the signal which to be displayed in its natural radio frequency form. As a fully rectified RF signal, or as either the positive or negative half of the RF signal. The type of transducers cables are coaxialas RF cable.
