I wanna do positioning with s7-1200 and danfoss drive with encoder.

How I can do it? I have to choose laser sensor for centering but which sensor is good. Which I use connection with drive and plc?

Could you please help me about his topic?

I think you need put more information if you whant get reply to your topic

Type more information about PLC what model you will use? Can you use expandable modules or not? How you imagine to control your danfoss drive via discrete signals or analog or somehow else?

Describe your danfos drive? Hardware name, code,  servo motor? asynchronus motor? or syncgronus motor? or like this?

Encoder must be connected to PLC or your danfos drive?

Type more information what laser sensor you will be choosen and what it must detect? corner of product or what? From what material is made product?

Type algorithm what you shoud to do exatly.

At the end if you whant get good reply, type more information as you know, then you will get correctly help, but now we will only can see your topic and imagine what you whant to do, but don't know with what hardware, logic, signals.... you must to do your task.
