Hi, We have an XYZ 560 Minimill, 3 axis with carousel tool changer. It has PCU20 and 810D CCU3 v6.4 The machine was bought from auction with no backups!!! On powering the machine we found that the NCK and PLC was lost due to dead NCK battery. We contacted XYZ and received these backup files: data 56KB MF153.b5r 87KB nck.stu 760KB plc.stu 300KB xcomp.spf 3KB ycomp.spf 3KB zcomp.spf 3KB We have tried everything to put the files into the control using WINPCIN We have talked to XYZ about the procedure and searched this FORUM for answers. When we try to send a file (any of them) all we get is alarm 'error DATA' From what I have read on FORUM we should have .ARC files to restore 810D but our files are not .ARC files. When I view an ARC file with an editor they are READABLE ish and show which files are contained in the ARC file, a sort of directory index, then each file in turn. When I view the files XYZ gave us they are not readable, they look like random code.... I have attached the files we have. I can send PLC.ARC and NCK.ARC from out 810D into WINPCIN and also read them back in, so nothing wrong with communication/settings etc. but obviously they are just default files. Can anyone shed light on these files and tell me how to restore them to the control? Please help!!! AttachmentMF153.zip (212 Downloads) |
