Hi, You need the library "USS and Modbus" to do anything with Modbus on the freeport of the S7-200. But a S7-200 can't be a master.. See also the handbook : S7-200 System Manualon chapter 12 is everything what you need for the Modbus Slave. STEP 7--Micro/WIN Instruction Libraries makes communicating to Modbus master devices easier by including pre-configured subroutines and interrupt routines that are specifically designed for Modbus communications. With the Modbus Slave Protocol Instructions, you can configure the S7-200 to act as a Modbus RTU slave device and communicate toModbus master devices. |

Yes it is possible use S7 200 How master modbus. There is a library that you make this.
