Shared File Into Wincc Unified HMI and IoT 2040 ?

The goal is for a Unified HMI to write a file (a report) to this folder and send it to the cloud via node red. I've seen that it could be done with Samba or NFS, but (Samba doesn't come installed, and it's also for sharing between Linux and Windows)

Stefan Arcularius Platinum Member Joined: 1/21/2013 Last visit: 8/29/2025 Posts: 4087 Rating: (633)	Hi edwin javier_barbosa molina172, Although I have no practical experience with SIMATIC IOT2000 devices, I can tell you that the only network file sharing related protocol supported by a WinCC Unified Comfort panel is the network SMB 3.0 protocol. Since Samba implements the SMB protocol on a Linux system, you would have to use it. Kind regards Stefan
