Sinamics G120 CU240 Profibus Basic Config

Hello experts! 

This will be my first time to integrate a Sinamics G120 with module CU240 via Profibus on old PCS7 v6.1.

Based on this posts:

There are special and separately purchased libraries that has to be used for full function ("Drive ES", "look and feel" etc.). But the plant currently don't have these. 

But they also told me I can still do basic monitoring and control via "Standard Telegram":

My questions:

1) Would this manual above for CU230P standard telagram apply also with CU240?

2) Could I be able to get data such as motor current without those special libraries?

Standard telegram seems to only have 2 words input and output, which is only 1 word for control/status bits and 1 word for speed SP/PV on input/output, so other data such as motor current possible?

There are two Standard telegram available.

1- Standard Telegram 1- PZD2/2

2- Standard Telegram 20- PZD 2/6

With standard telegram 20 you can read values like current, Actual Speed,Actual Torque in addition to status word. Also there is one free connector to read user defined values.

I think I understood the difference between Telegrams 1 and 20 (and Telegram 532 for DriveES).

But the telegram 20 seems only available using the library FbDrive, which seems not available on PCS7 v6 (only on V8)? Will there be a need to purchase?

Unfortunately we need to do this soon so if there's a way to get telegram 20 w/o additional purchases (which also needs time) will be very much appreciated!

Also I actually have the List Manual, attached is the 1 word control bit. It will be my first time working with VFD so can you please help me as to what exactly is mean by this bits?

There seems to be no further explanation aside from the short descriptions. How do I basically control the drive with this 16 bits (this bits is basically just to start/stop the drive right)?

Actually I can't also seem to find documentation of even DriveES for PCS7 V6. On the above video link there's a link but only for V7.1 and V8. Is there actually library available for PCS7 V6?

Does this mean I can config for instance Telegram 20 with 6 words input (3rd word for current) but won't be able to receive motor current by monitoring (direct address) the third input word (without using FbDrive or DriveES)?

Application examples for Sinamics over Profibus

Don,t know how integration of Sinamics VFD with PCS7 V6 takes place but it should be possible.

Once you know how the actual mechanism works then you should be able to control the VFD with PCS7 also.

In PCS7 V8.0/V8.1 the actual block we use to control the motor is MotSpdCL.

PCS7 V6 should have some motor block to control the speed controlled motors and if you know the mechanism you can implement further logic.

In my opinion you should be able to monitor the direct values PIW without using the FbDrive.

FbDrive is driver block which facilates you to map the signals in PCS7 according the standard telegram 1/20.

You have to scale these values in PLC in according to reference parameter eg, P2000,P2001.
