sitop power supply

kasun Posts: 28 Rating: (1)	Hi, I'm using a Sitop 3.5 power supply.I'm using 230V AC power as for the supply. I connected the Live in main power to L1 in th Sitop Neutral to N and Earth to terminal showing earthing symbol. Then i connected L+ in the 24V DC power output of sitop to L+ terminal in the bottom righthand corner of the CPU 224 DC/DC/DC and M in the 24V DC power output of sitop to M terminal in the bottom righthand corner of the CPU 224 DC/DC/DC and turn the main power to the sitop on . But the PLC does not power up. Are these connaections correct. Should additional connections be made to turn the PLC on. Please help me in this matter. Thank you.

razvancis Posts: 13 Rating: (0)	Hello, You must to connect the terminals L+ and M which are in the place of the top - righthand corner. In the bottom - righthand corner it's the place of the 24Vdc output which it's used for supply of module inputs. Good day, Razvan

kasun Posts: 28 Rating: (1)	Hi, Is the main power connection to the Sitop correct? When I switch on the main power the sitop power supply turns on and turn off suddenly.

neo Posts: 264 Rating: (59)	Hello kasun, Razvan is right, connect 24VDC to the the top left of the S7. I think the main power connection is right. Doe´s the Sitop also doe´s so when nothing connected to +24VDC clamp? best regards...

But the PLC turns on when the main power is turned on, and turns off instantly.I measured the voltages to the sitop power supply.It is 230V.I get main power from 5A plug base.I have tested three power supplies and same happens to all the three. I attach herewith a picture showing how I have connected the main power.I connected together 120VAC link terminals by a jumper wire since I'm using 230V AC power(As menioned in the Sitop 3.5 power manual .Please help me in this matter. rosa Posts: 191 Rating: (58)	Hi!! i downloaded the manual and found this note under CONNECTION: If the equipment is to be connected to a supply voltage of 230 V, the two terminals labeled "120 VAC Link" must not be linked; for connection to a 120 V supply, they must be connected together using a wire jumper.
