Time field not working properly with new firmware V17.0.0.5

I've just updated several UCPs to the new firmware V17.0.0.5 and the IO Fields configured with Output format as {T} don't work, all of them show 00:00:00.

Additionally, if you try to change one of them in runtime, it shows red after inputting value, as if you were selecting data out of range.

Please try to delete the IM folder, recompile the HMI in the project and download the project to the UCPs again.

Note: it is important to also have the latest TIA V17 Update installed and configure the maximum configurable image version for the UCPs.

If this doesn't work... do you use any script to show the time in the IO Field? Could you attach it?

I've tried to delete IM folder without success.

I was already working with latest TIA V17 Update 5.

I can confirm that the issue is caused by the new firmware and not by the TIA V17 Update 5, because same project downloaded to a UCP with firmware V17.0.0.4 works correctly regarding time fields.

The data type used is a DTL, no scripts used.

We have a field with this DTL formatted as {D} and it works. Another one formatted as {D} {T} and it works too. But when the format is only time {T} it doesn't work.

We've realized that simulating the runtime or when accessing the UCP via web client, everything is OK, so it looks like something is wrong with the local runtime viewer of the UCP, due to the new firmware V17.0.0.5.

We hope Siemens fixes this soon with a new firmware, taking into account that not being able to work with time fields is not acceptable at all.

I would recommend you to create a Support Request so that the TS can study your case, since it certainly seems to be abnormal behavior.

In the meantime, you can temporarily work with the {D} {T} or {D} format, or try scripting 

I got the same issue but with a script. I use an MTP700 with V17 Update 5, it worked with Update 4 without a problem, but since Update 5 it isn't working.

The Script works fine in simulation (RT), but not on the MTP700. I couldn't try to delete IM Folder, this will my next step.

with toLocaleString() you are creating a string variable. This does not fit your output format. Please do not use a date and time output format in this case. You can use {S} or jest leave the format blank.

 Thanks for the advice, with some consideration this makes absolutely sence! I will try this and check the siemens referenece document for deeper definitions. I didn't check these for this project, i think.
