I have a couple of questions regarding CIR (change in run) documentation

Q.1: Is there any limitation on using CIR with cpu s7 414-3f regarding using external ram or flash? does cir depend on ram or flash memory?

Q.2: if i am planning to just add more slaves ET 200M but won't change modules in them, can i NOT use active bus modules in those et200m? does cir allow it?

 Q.1: The only mentionned requirement for a CPU 414 is the firmware version, Nowhere is a load memory limitation discussed for CiR.

Q. 2: The last selected note in the screenshot states that "You can combine any components which are either capable or not capable of system modification via CiR during runtime" in your CPU's hardware configuration. To enable CiR functions on a ET 200M, you need to integrate active bus modules in the system (see the first selection in the screenshot). If you choose to not install active bus modules on certain ET 200M stations, these cannot use the CiR functions, but they will exchange process data with the CPU without problem.
